Alicia Sometimes is an Australian writer, poet, broadcaster and musician. She is one of the 3RRR’s Breakfasters team this year and was on her books and writing show Aural Text for fourteen years and regularly appears on ABC radio. She has interviewed many people including Neil Gaiman, David Suzuki, Laurie Anderson, John Cale, Gene Simmons, Ben Elton and more. Alicia was editor of the Australian literary journal Going Down Swinging for seven years and has appeared in ABC TV’s Sunday Arts and Best Australian Poems. She has performed her spoken word at many venues, festivals and events around the world. Alicia has two poetry collections, kissing the curve and Soundtrack. She was a 2014 Fellow at the State Library of Victoria. She is director and co-writer of the science-poetry show, Elemental that has recently toured Australia and India.
