Ensemble-in-Residence at the University of Technology, Sydney since 2011, the Australia Piano Quartet has established a reputation as one of Australia’s premier chamber music ambassadors. Through the commissioning of new works by seven Australian composers in 2015 alone and via its ground-breaking collaborative residency at UTS, APQ seeks to be a potent and forward-looking creative force on the Australian music scene.
Other highlights of the 2015 season include an eight concert series presented by the Sydney Opera House at the Utzon Room and two performances at the Melbourne Recital Centre. The Australia Piano Quartet appears at the Australian & New Zealand Festival of Literature & Arts as part of their current European tour which also takes in the Australian Embassy in Paris and the Barbican Centre [June 2nd]
