New Zealand/Wellington
The multi-talented Duncan Sarkies is a screenwriter, playwright, novelist and short story writer. His work is eclectic as he shifts through different mediums and genres, but what consistently binds his work together is a desire for innovation and quality, all told with a highly individual voice.

Born in Dunedin, New Zealand, Sarkies came to prominence with his now-celebrated film director brother, Robert when they produced the classic macabre comedy Scarfies – a film called about their beloved hometown. Since that start, the city of Wellington now claims them as sons. Sarkies talents have touched the success of Flight of the Conchords for which he wrote, he’s cameoed in film What We Do In Shadows and wrote the black comedy film Two Little Boys.
