Pianist Lindy Tennent-Brown was raised in New Zealand where home was a remote King Country farm, and studied at Victoria University of Wellington. In 1998 she moved to the UK for postgraduate study with Margaret Fingerhut at the Royal Northern College of Music, and held Fellowships there and at the Royal College of Music. She made her début at Wigmore Hall in 2004 partnering Ann Murray, DBE, and has since performed throughout Europe, the Americas and Australasia. Lindy has worked as music staff for, among others, English National Opera, Aldeburgh Productions, Glyndebourne Productions and Scottish Opera, and several West End musicals. She worked extensively on the development of new opera for the Royal Opera House, Covent Garden and, in 2014, co-founded Blind Tiger Productions, a company dedicated to creating and producing new opera and music theatre.
