ANZACs at ​w​ar feature prominently in ​novels and often these are stories of great courage, tragedy and the resilience of the human spirit. Discussing their characters , ​the experience of ​war in their stories and the indelible mark​ of war​ on literature​, ​are acclaimed writers Evie Wyld, CK Stead, ​Ashley Hay and Mark Dapin, who between them have written novels from set in and around the involvement of Australians and New Zealanders in the second World War and Vietnam War. Michael Caines, of the Times Literary Supplement, hosts this panel.
